Our Approach to Security

Because people share things with EVRINT they wouldn’t tell most humans, we take security extremely seriously.

Data Protection

• Encryption at rest: All conversation and memory data is encrypted using modern standards.
• Encryption in transit: All traffic uses TLS 1.3.
• Password security: Passwords are hashed with bcrypt. We never store plaintext passwords.
• Minimal access: Only a very small number of engineers have access to production databases, and only when necessary.

Infrastructure

EVRINT runs on secure, privately operated infrastructure. Your most sensitive Creative mode conversations are not handed off to third-party AI providers for processing.

Creative Mode Data

We understand that Creative mode conversations can be extremely personal. These conversations are treated with the highest level of protection and are never used for model training or shared with any third party.

Minor Safety & Age Protection

Protecting minors is a hard, non-negotiable line. We enforce it with layered, automated safeguards:

• Age gating: We collect date of birth at signup. Accounts under 18 are restricted to Normal mode — Creative mode is disabled for them at the server level, not just hidden in the app.
• Real-time detection: Every message is screened before the AI responds. Any attempt to sexualize a minor, or to make the AI role-play as a child or minor, is blocked instantly and refused — this cannot be bypassed by switching modes or models.
• Escalating enforcement: Violations carry escalating consequences — warning, then temporary lockouts (1 hour → 24 hours → 7 days), then indefinite lockout and review. Strikes persist and do not reset on a short timer.
• Logging & human review: Flagged events are logged with the relevant conversation so our moderation team can review them. Users may appeal a block, and a human reviews each appeal.

Incident Response

In the unlikely event of a security incident that affects user data, we will notify affected users as quickly as possible and be fully transparent about what happened and what we are doing about it.

If you discover a security issue, please report it responsibly to security@evrint.com. We appreciate responsible disclosure and will work with you to resolve the issue.

Transparency Reports

We will publish periodic transparency reports showing government data requests (if any) and how we responded.
